Helen Maria Nugent co-conceived and co-curated this juried exhibition featuring prototype furniture, furnishings and functional objects that challenge convention through elements of visual, material, mechanical, or functional deception. The usually hidden processes of the designers was presented though wall based posters and graphics.
The exhibition was supported by the Chicago Furniture Design Association (CFDA), the Chicago Chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
